Patience: Track 2, "Dream on Dreamer" by Brand New Heavies, I downloaded first randomly in the Limewire days in middle school in the basement of my parents house. I new nothing of acid jazz or of London back then. When I finally got to the UK in my 20s, I finally grasped how the Diaspora affected African music and that it is ALL Soul frequency music. This song speaks to me of the strength of the essence of my dreams coursing through my veins...and to keep following them even in the darkest of hours.
